1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FAB Framework ("we," "us," or "our"). They cover fabframework.com and the FAB Framework service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Please read "Dispute Resolution & Arbitration" below carefully. Unless you opt out within 30 days, it requires most disputes between you and us to be resolved by individual binding arbitration instead of in court, and it waives class actions and jury trials.
2. The Service
FAB Framework is a component library and website builder for designing pages, forms, cards and layouts, and publishing forms that other people can fill in. We may add, change or remove features over time.
3. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your password secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@fabframework.com if you think someone else has used it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, stalk or harm anyone;
- upload malware, or content that is illegal, infringing, or sexually exploits anyone, especially a minor;
- post hateful, violent, threatening or harassing content, spam, or anyone else's private information without permission;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are;
- access other people's accounts or data without permission, or probe, scan or test the Service's security;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the Service, or overload it;
- copy, reverse-engineer or decompile the Service, except where the law allows; or
- resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Your Content
You own it. You own what you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only to run the Service for you and to show the content you choose to share to the people you share it with. The license ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a short time.
You're responsible for it. You confirm you have the right to add Your Content and that it follows "Acceptable Use" and the law, including permission for any photos of, or information about, other people. We don't endorse other users' content, and the views in it are theirs, not ours.
Moderation. We don't review content before it's posted and have no obligation to monitor it, but we may (without having to) review, hide or remove any content, and limit or close accounts, if we believe it breaks these Terms, harms others or creates legal risk. We may preserve or disclose content if the law requires it or to protect people's safety.
Other users. You're responsible for your dealings with other users. We aren't responsible for their content or conduct, and we aren't a party to disputes between users.
Reporting. To report content that breaks these Terms or is illegal, email support@fabframework.com. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights, and it's part of these Terms. When you add information about someone else, you confirm you have the authority or their permission to do so. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
7. Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and the FAB Framework name and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms.
8. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, email support@fabframework.com with: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the content is; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or authorized to act for them, with your signature. We'll remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
9. Ending Your Use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if your use creates risk for others. We may also discontinue the Service or parts of it, with reasonable notice where practical.
10. Forms You Publish
When you publish a form, you decide what it collects and you’re responsible for it. You must tell the people filling it in who you are and how you’ll use their answers, have a lawful reason to collect them, and follow the privacy laws that apply to you. Don’t use forms to collect passwords, payment card or bank details, government ID numbers, health information or anything about children, and don’t use them for phishing or to impersonate anyone. We store and process the answers only to provide the Service to you, and we may remove forms that break these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST, SO KEEP YOUR OWN COPIES OF ANYTHING IMPORTANT.
Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.
13. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs from third parties that arise from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breaking these Terms or someone else's rights.
14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, you and we agree to try to resolve it informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute and what you want to support@fabframework.com (we'll send ours to your account's email). If it isn't resolved within 60 days, either of us may start arbitration or, where allowed below, go to court.
Binding individual arbitration. Except as described below, any dispute, claim or controversy between you and us arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") will be resolved by final, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect (available at adr.org), before a single arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides all questions, including whether a Dispute must be arbitrated, except that a court decides questions about the class-action waiver below. Hearings will happen by video or phone, or in the county where you live if an in-person hearing is needed. Fees are paid as the AAA's Consumer Rules provide. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could, but only for you individually.
Exceptions. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either of us may ask a court to stop the infringement or misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service.
No class actions or jury trials. You and we may bring claims against each other only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims. You and we waive any right to a jury trial. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be decided by a court under "Governing Law & Courts," after any arbitrable claims are resolved.
Many similar claims. If 25 or more similar Disputes are filed by or with the help of the same lawyers or organization, they'll be handled in batches of up to 25 at a time under the AAA's mass-arbitration procedures.
Opting out. You can reject this arbitration section by emailing support@fabframework.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms, with your name, your account's email and a statement that you're opting out of arbitration. Opting out doesn't affect anything else in these Terms. If you created your account before October 25, 2026, this section applies to you 30 days after we notify you of it, and your 30-day opt-out period starts then.
Changes and survival. If we change this section, the change won't apply to a Dispute we already knew about, and you may reject it by emailing us within 30 days of the change. This section continues after your account ends.
Consumers outside the U.S. If you live in the EEA, the UK or another place whose laws don't allow consumers to agree to arbitration in advance, this section doesn't apply to you, and you may bring claims in the courts where you live.
15. Governing Law & Courts
These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any Dispute that isn't arbitrated must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, except that consumers who live elsewhere keep any right their local law gives them to sue where they live.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes, we'll tell you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a provision, we haven't waived it. You can't transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale, merger or transfer of the Service. We may send notices to your account's email address or in the Service.
